The 791s, also known as the Tarkovsky boots, are probably our most unique boot. The Tarkovsky boots have a genuine water-repellent leather upper and a high-quality sole molded directly into the upper. Since the Tarkovsky boots have no lining other than genuine leather, we recommend using warmer socks in freezing temperatures. The Tarkovskys are named after the film director Andrei Tarkovsky , whose film Stalker is one of our all-time favorite films. The Tarkovskys are manufactured in Europe to NATO AQAP 2110 standards in the same factory that makes one of the most legendary military boots, the M77. So you can be sure that they are of military-grade quality and durability.
We recommend choosing one size smaller, e.g. if you wear Nike size 41, our size 40 boots will fit perfectly.
