The first version of the M77 was delivered to the Norwegian army over 50 years ago and is still relied on by several NATO armies today, including Norway. The development of the M77 boot took ten years, as the Norwegian army had high demands on the durability, comfort, weight and moisture resistance of the boot. It was also important that the boots were easy to care for at the same time. The result is comfortable, breathable and water-repellent boots made from only 2.8-3 mm thick full grain leather, steel and polyurethane. The anatomical insole is shock-resistant, antibacterial, breathable and washable.
And most importantly, they are durable. Just keep your boots well lubricated. As with full leather boots, they may take a while to break in, but once you have them on, they are as good as they get. These boots are unisex and designed for both men and women. The sizes are large, meant to be worn with thermal or even double socks . In summary, they are probably one of the best value boots in the world , but we understand that they are not suitable for everyone.
