A completely handmade textile toy stove that is also a storage basket.
The kitchen is the heart of every home, a source of tradition, a meeting place for the whole family and a natural playground for developing cooking skills. In the Little Chefs collection, storage baskets have become something more. They have been transformed into interactive textile toys that transport you to a vintage 60s kitchen.
It is made with artisan techniques, using braided cotton yarns mixed with fibers from recycled PET bottles and cotton fabric in the dominant color Blue Sage.
This play kitchen is much more than a basket, featuring a textile pot – made from RugCycled® cords – and a padded, child-sized cotton oven mitt. The front features a rectangular oven door and a cotton fabric control panel with five knobs. The hob features embroidered ribbons that mimic a traditional gas stove. The fireplace is finished in a muted sage blue with pearl grey and dark grey details, and is individually packaged in a cardboard box. Its delicately handcrafted details make each play kitchen unique and essential for sparking children’s imaginations in true Montessori style.
