TOKU Stockholm Sneakers - Grey

TOKU Stockholms are durable sneakers made in Estonia by Piibe Tomp. Our machine washable sneakers have a classic high cut with a small TOKU twist. Wear them to a muddy festival or a rainy hike – no problem! Remove the laces from the sneakers and wipe off any dirt and grime. Put the sneakers and laces in the laundry bag that came with every purchase of the sneakers. This is our most durable and long-lasting model yet – no shoe box, all materials are from Europe, soles are made of natural rubber and much more.

TOWARDS A BETTER FUTURE AND ENVIRONMENT

We value good materials, durability and as a local small producer we also leave this quality with a smaller footprint on our planet. We have succeeded in joint ventures that share the same values as us. The packaging of the new Toku sneakers is a washable and reusable shoe bag – always on top of the cardboard shoe box. We plant about 2000 new trees for use in the Estonian Nature Conservation. Planting forests helps us remember our roots and preserve the surrounding nature.

LEATHER

The leather used for the shoe details comes from European farms and is processed in Italy. This leather is machine washable.

TEXTILE

The fabric is made using 50% renewable solar energy. The outer layer of the fabric is 70% cotton and 30% polyester. The lining is 100% recycled PET.

INSOLE

The insole is breathable microfiber with activated carbon and natural cork underneath, which means comfort, keeps feet dry, and helps combat unpleasant odors.

ONLY

The soles are 100% natural latex rubber – made from the milk of the Hevea or Kumpu tree. Hevea milk
collected in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam and then in France, where the final product, LACTAE HEVEA® base, is manufactured.

All TO shoes are handmade in Southern Estonia by a small family business that has been making great shoes since 1927. They practice slow fashion by using good natural, high-quality materials and creating versatile, durable styles, ensuring that your sandals will serve you for years.
